The Code Names and Objective of the Syndicate Starts to Emerge.

Conan starts going to elementary school and Agasa develops some super shoes for him. Since he's good at soccer he will be able to make good use of them when catching criminals. They supercharge the muscles in  his feet to allow him to kick things extremely hard.

A few cases later Kogoro is hired by a girl to find her father that went missing. It turns out that she and two other men where the criminals in a billion yen robbery, and she actually hired Kogoro to find the man because he escaped with the money.

Conan follows her to a harbor where it is revealed that she is really Miyano Akemi, who is part of the syndicate with the men in black. She committed the robbery with the other two, in the hopes of being able to leave the syndicate with her sister. But the men in black refuse to let them go. He says that her sister is one of the greatest minds in the syndicate. That's when he pulls a gun on Akemi and shoots her. They disappear as Conan comes to Akemi's side. She states that the members of the syndicate are fond of wearing black as if they're ravens. But can't give anymore information about them than that before she dies. (Her sister, parents and "boyfriend" at this time, later have a large connection to the investigation)

Conan later encounters the men in black on a bullet train. There is a reference to "their boss".

Conan uses a listening device that is hidden in his glasses to listen to the men in black's conversation. They escape the train but Conan learns their code names "Gin" and "Vodka".

Later at a game developers even Conan gets involved with an other case and this time coincidentally an other member of the syndicate, code name "Tequila", is also involved, but he gets killed after the transaction. Conan learns that he had been meeting with a programmer at a bar called the "cocktail" on the top floor of the Daikoku building in Beika.  However, just as Conan arrives to investigate, a bomb goes off and completely obliterates the bar. The men in black offered a huge sum of money for a list of the most talented computer programmers throughout the world. But that's all the information that emerged from the case.
